CYO Basketball Returning coaches Registration form FOR Certification – 2024-2025 Season

Returning CYO Basketball coaches (certified in the 2023-2024 school year seasons) may be certified to coach for the 2024-2025 seasons without attending a CYO Coaches Certificaton Workshop. To be certrified to coach, you must do thei following:

• Have been certified to coach in CYO for a 2023-2024 school year CYO sports season.
• Log in to youir page on the Virtus website to be sure that you have completed the training course (after September 1, 2021) and have been cleared by the Diocese of Oakland through livescan.  Your page can be found on the Virtus website:  virtusonlne.org
• Download and review the 2024-2025 CYO Athletic ManualC  Click Here to Download CYO Athletic Manual
• Complete and submit the form below to register as a CYO Coach. Be sure to click the Submit button.

(If you are a new coach, or you were not certified in 2023-2024 you must atteend a CYO New Coaches Certification Workshop and be in compliance with diocesan Safe Environment requirements (Virtus training and Fingerprint clearance).  Click on this link for details.)

Once you submit this completed form and your eligibilty and safe environement compliance is checked by CYO, your 2023-2024 Coaches Certification Card will be mailed to you.

You are not considered to be a certified coach until you complete these requirements and receive your card.  You may not sit on a team bench until you receive your card.  Please allow time for processing!
