Ceasefire Walks for Peace

Ceasefire Walks for Peace are interfaith events that address concerns of violence within the community by using a public display of unity as a form of communication. Ceasefire initiatives have been held in Oakland, Richmond, and Antioch and have been widely attended. 

Detention Ministry

The Catholic Detention Ministry reveals God's message of unconditional love and mercy to people who are incarcerated in the East Bay and their families.
 

Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign

The Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign will begin with Awareness Workshops focused on labor trafficking and the sex trafficking of minors, followed by implementation of awareness and prevention programs within the parishes. 

 

CCEB Crisis Response and Support Network

This program provides immediate and sustained support to victims of crime, especially those impacted by community, domestic, and family violence, and includes services to family and friends of homicide victims in Oakland as part of Oakland Unite, the violence prevention initiative of the City of Oakland. Clinical Case Managers deliver therapeutic and safety net services, including evidence-based mental health treatment, emergency financial assistance and supportive access to legal, housing, financial and other needs-based services.
