- Coaches Certification Workshop – Wednesday, March 16 at St. Leo the Great, Oakland, 6:30 p.m. registration
- Preliminary Meet Dates, Sunday beginning at Noon at Salesian High School - March 26, , April 2, 16, 23
- Section 2 Championship Qualifying Meet - Sunday, April 30
- Section 2 "Ribbon" Meet - Sunday, May 7
- Oakland Diocee Championshop Meet - Friday and Saturday, May 12, 13

Who We Are!
- CYO Track Section 2 is part of the CYO Track and Field program for the Oakland Diocese.Teams represent Catholic schools and parishes in the Oakland,
Alameda and West Contra Costa areas. - Meets are held at Salesian High School, Richmond, on Sunday afternoons beginning in mid-March and ending in early May. Salesian offers an all-weather track facilty.
- Ages and Events: CYO Track and Field offers a variety of events for girls and boys, up through 8th grade. Each meet: features a variety of Races: sprints, distance races and relays. Field Events include: long jump, high jump, softball throw, shot put and tetherball toss. All meets begin with a prayer with all the athletes, coaches and parents participating.

Meet Information and results

Section 2 Championship Qualifying Meet & Oakland Diocese CYO Championship Meet
- Runners from 3rd through 8th grades in Track Section 2 will compete in the Section 2 Championshop Qualifying Meet on Sunday, April 28. Top runners will qualify at this meet to participate in the Diocesan Meet.
- The 2024 Diocese of Oakland CYO Championship Track and Field Meet will be on Friday night, May 10 and on Saturday, May 11. (Dates to be confirmed.)
