In mid-March, when the Chancery Offices closed due to the pandemic, our routine of gift processing and acknowledgement ground to a halt. Due to this, a significant backlog formed for our gift entry, acknowledgement letters, and pledge reminders. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused for our donors and parishes.
In May, a workable solution was found that enabled our staff to work on gift recording securely and remotely. The team members have worked diligently to get caught up with all gifts through the end of May. Over the next few days, we will be producing and sending to donors the acknowledgements they deserve and have come to expect for their generosity.
