Pope Francis calls for universal act of peace on March 25

In the context of the tragic events in Ukraine, Pope Francis has written the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, asking all bishops and their priests to join in an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25. The bishops and priests of the United States are asked to offer the prayer as close as possible to the time that Pope Francis will be consecrating the two countries, at 5 pm in Rome (9 am PT).
