Catholic Charities Immigration Forum, Saturday, July 27 at Contra Costa College
Catholic Charities East Bay Immigration Legal Services, in collaboration with other agencies, hosted an Immigration Forum on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Contra Costa College. The legal team offered free consultations, a Know Your Rights Presentation, and a DACA workshop.
Recognized by the US Department of Justice, Catholic Charities offers trusted immigration legal services through their team of licensed attorneys and DOJ accredited representatives. Catholic Charities:
Helps people obtain work authorization and lawful immigration status;
Guides people on the path to citizenship;
Provides legal consultations;
Helps with family-based visa, green cards; and
Helps with citizenship applications and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
They also represent unaccompanied minors and individuals in removal proceedings. They understand the importance of trust and use practices sensitive to trauma.
