Cathedral shop closing

The Cathedral Shop, located on the plaza of the Cathedral of Christ the Light Center, will cease operations at the end of March, 2020. Normal business hours – Sundays from 9 am to 4 pm and Monday-Saturday 10 am to 4 pm – will be in effect through March 31, 2020.
 
The decision to close the Cathedral Shop will allow the Diocese to explore another purpose for the space, a purpose which will remain true to the mission of the facilities and of the Diocese.
 
“We are grateful for the dedicated service Michele Angeli Zaugg and her staff have provided to the faithful for these past 12 years,” Father George Mockel, vicar general of the Diocese, said. “Items from The Cathedral Shop have memorialized joyful and solemn moments for so many Catholics.”
 
Employees of The Cathedral Shop will be provided outplacement services through the Diocese’s Human Resources office.
