Advent Gatherings for Diocese of Oakland Catechetical & Youth Ministry Workers

Join us for fellowship, prayer, formation, and food as we gather together as Catechetical and Youth Ministry workers. 

• December 9 (St. Joan of Arc in San Ramon).

Two sessions will run from 9am - 1pm, will be identical in content, and bilingual (English/Spanish). Please pick the best date for you. Please register by November 22.

 What to Expect:

• Fr. Jimmy, Diocesan Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization, will lead us in a reflection on beginning the new liturgical year in our ministries.
• Cristina Hernandez, Coordinator for Life and Justice Ministries, will provide formation on the intersection of Cultural Diversity and Pastoral Ministry.
• Our newest diocesan Coordinators, Gena McGowan and Joseph Nufable, will share the exciting new resources and support efforts for our ministry leaders, catechists, and youth ministers.

*The Advent Gathering will count towards 4 hours of continuing education for Catechist re-certification
