Two of the Bay Area’s leading choirs come together for a tour de force of seasonal choral music. Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble and WomenSing, directed by Ofer dal Lal, present *Synergy*, a varied program including works for double choir, choir with solo, and other choral combinations. The program features Franz Biebl’s *Ave Maria*, Benjamin Britten’s *A Hymn to the Virgin*, and contemporary settings of *Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming* and *In Dulci Jubilo*, among others. The Militia of the Immaculata, an international association of the faithful whose mission is to win the world for Christ through the Immaculata, founded by Max Kolbe in 1917, invites all to a Marian Consecration Mass starting at 7 pm at Our Lady of Grace in Castro Valley on Monday December 9th (the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception).
