SPRED Core Team Training Part B - Intro to SP. Religious Education- Methodology & History (2-1)

Core Team Catechists must attend Intro. to Special Religious Education Part A at least once.

Part 1 of 2, Intro. to SPRED is required training for new Parish Chairpersons, Leader and Activity Catechists.

Core Team Catechists must attend Intro. to Special Religious Education Part B at least once. Priority registration will be given to current SPRED Catechists 

Intro. to SPRED (2-1), a 2-day training course taken on consecutive Saturdays required for Leader Catechists, Activity Catechists, and Parish Chairpersons:
Part A
- Pastoral Statement of U.S. Catholic Bishops on Persons with Disabilities
- History of SPRED Chicago/Oakland & specialized Catechetic
- The method vivre & meeting in a small community of faith
Part B
- Roles & Standards of SPRED
- Total Community of catechists & Friends
- Meaning of Faith and Revelation in specialized catechesis
