As we begin to re-create what our lives look like in 2021 and beyond, it’s likely that many of us have a lot to process around what’s happened in the last 18 months. The labyrinth is an amazing tool that provides the space for a walking meditation full of metaphor, insight, and prayer. Join us for this afternoon retreat to spend time with setting intentions, reconnecting with our inner landscape, and finding a renewed connection to the Divine. In this retreat, we’ll learn a bit about the history of the Labyrinth throughout Christianity, spend time reflecting on our lives with journaling and discussion, and walk the labyrinth.
The labyrinth is a walking meditation, a path of prayer and an archetypal blueprint where psyche meets Spirit. It has only one path that leads from the outer edge in a circuitous way to the center. There are no tricks to it and no dead ends. Unlike a maze where you lose your way, the labyrinth is a spiritual tool that can help you find your way. It is a beautiful and simple walking meditation that has helped people process the many twists and turns of life in a prayerful and inspired way.
