Sacred Heart and Pax Christi Northern California will commemorate the anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on the city and people of Nagasaki, Japan in 1945. Nagasaki is also the center of the Catholic Community in Japan. After the 8 am Mass, all are invited to join us in Sacred Heart's Peace Garden for about 15 minutes of silent prayer/meditation for peace. Afterwards we will share tea and snacks. (Sacred Heart is on the corner of 40th Street and Martin Luther King Jr Way and parking is available (entrance on 41st Street). For more information contact [email protected].
