Jaseon Outlaw, Ph.D. - Dr. Outlaw is a licensed psychologist (CA#:PSY23676) and Clinical Director of Journey of Life Counseling and Assessment Services. Dr. Outlaw received his Doctoral training at Arizona State University where he researched academic identification and factors of academic persistence. He completed his Pre-Doctoral Internship at Butler University & BehaviorCorp, and his Post-Doctoral Fellowship (Clinical Assessment) at University of Houston’s Counseling & Psychological Services. Dr. Outlaw previously chaired the Alameda County Mental Health Board (District 5) and was vice-chair of the Alameda County Measure A Oversight Committee.
Lynne Mullen - Mrs. Mullen is Principal of St. Elizabeth School in Oakland. A longtime advocate for Catholic education, she has been a student, teacher, and now serves as Principal of St. Elizabeth's, a Lumen Christi Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Santa Clara University and then went on to teach Grades 5-8 in the Archdiocese of San Francisco where she also served as a parish and high school youth minister. She joined the Diocese of Oakland in 2000 where she has served as an administrator ever since. Mrs. Mullen is currently completing her doctoral work in Educational Leadership for Social Justice. Her passion is focused on creating safe and supportive classroom and school practices in Catholic schools that are inclusive and support healthy whole child development.
Amy Martinez. LCSW - Ms. Martinez is a bilingual, licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist and School Counselor at St. Mary's School in Walnut Creek. For over 25 years, Ms. Martinez continues to support children, adolescents and families with a range of socio-emotional, developmental and behavioral concerns across a variety of settings including child welfare, outpatient clinics, NGOs, crisis intervention and public and private schools. With extensive cross-cultural experience living and working with diverse populations from around the world, Ms. Martinez provides an empathic, practical, playful and relational approach to working alongside children and their families through consultations, child therapy, group and family sessions and workshops. Ms. Martinez received her educational degrees and training from the Washington School of Psychiatry, University of Maryland, CHP International and Providence College.
