Funeral Mass for Carmen Margaret Quinones

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmen Quinones, which occurred January 29, 2024.

Beloved SPRED Friend, sister, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 "C" Street, Union City. Reception to follows at Ruggieri Senior Center (33997 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City)

Carmen began participating as a SPRED Friend at the first SPRED Labor Day Retreat in 1977 at the Sisters of the Holy Family (SHF) Mother House. Throughout the years, she continued being a part of the SPRED ministry, attending her last retreat in 2019. Carmen was an advocate for the developmental disabilities' community serving on the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) Board of Directors for 10+ years & the Consumer Advisory Board for more than 20+ years.
