Cathedral Organ Recital, Cathedral of Christ the Light

Hans U. Hielscher, organist at Marktkirche in Wiesbaden, Germany, will present a recital of dynamic music on the Conrad Memorial Organ (Létourneau Op. 118) at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. The program will feature works by Christopher Tambling, Frank Bridge, Lester Groom, Charles Callahan, Gordon B. Nevin, Dan Miller, and Cor Kee.  Hielscher is an international recitalist who has performed nearly 4,000 concerts worldwide. He is the recipient of multiple awards and honors and is a published composer of about 60 works for organ. The recital is free and open to the public.
