• Girls "American Division" Playoff (Diablo Valley CYO League):  Friday, Feb. 7 - Saturday Feb 8 and Sunday, February 9
  
• Last day for league play/playoffs (boys' teams): Sunday, Feb 16
• Diocesan Boys "American Division" Playoffs: Friday, Feb. 21 - Sunday, March 2
• Diablo East "National Division" Tournament of Champions: Friday, Feb. 21 - Sunday, March 2

2025 Girls' CYO Basketball
(in the Northern, EBPL, Metro and SAC (Girls) Leagues)

• Practice begins: Monady, January 20, 2025
• Coaches Certification Workshops: Feb. 6, 13
• First day of League Play: Friday, February 21
• No CYO Activities: Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday, April 17 - 20
• Diocesan Girls Playoffs (West Diocese Teams): Saturday, May 17 - Wednesday, May 21

2024 Girls' Basketball Playoffs - Spring (West Diocese)

The 2024 Girls' CYO Basketbal Playoffs wwere played in May at Moreau Catholic High School (Hayward), St. Joseph Notre Dame Gym (Alameda) and St. Leadner Gym (San Leandro). Thirty-eight teams in the CYO spring CYO leagues, in the SAC Girls, Metro, EBPL and Northern leagues in 4th through 8th grades participated befor excited crowds and packed gyms

2024 Boys' "American Division" Basketball Playoffs
The 2024 "American Division" Boys' Basketball Playoffs featured seventy teams from the seven CYO leagues around the diocese, in two weekend of play.  The games in February and March featured tight games and spirited play.  Photo above is from the St Joseph, Fremont,  and St. Felicitas, San Leanddro, 8AA Championship at St. Bede gym. CYO Basketball Tournaments

CYO Basketball Tournaments are hosted by our parishes and Catholic high schools. Tournaments are generally in the preseason, Thanksgiving break and Christmas break.  To enter you must contact the tournament sponsor. Go to the CYO Tournaments Page
