Vocation Awareness Month in the Diocese of Oakland
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest” (Mt. 9:38).
National Vocation Awareness Week will be celebrated in the United States from Nov. 3-9, 2024. Please pray to our Lord for more dedicated, holy priests, deacons, consecrated men and women, and lay leaders in service to the Church. Cultivating vocations starts in our homes, schools, and parishes. They are the seedbeds of religious and priestly vocations. As the people of God, we are called to be promoters of vocations in our communities.
