Pastors/Parochial Administrators/Business managers/Principals are hereby notified that our current provider for the State of California mandated Anti-Harassment training for all Diocese of Oakland employees is moving to a new platform.
Here are the FAQ’s:
- The State of California requires ALL employees to train in Anti-Harassment every two years.
- Pastors or Parochial Administrators and Principals are ultimately responsible to insure that every employee both supervisory and non-supervisory completes the assigned anti-harassment training every two years.
- Assignments will be made by the Safe Environment office to each individual employee, BUT IT REMAINS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL LOCATION TO BE IN COMPLIANCE. Reports for your location will be given upon request to the Safe Environment Office.
- Any employees who are still on payroll from 2019 WHO FAILED TO COMPLETE THIS TRAINING will be assigned training next week with a one week due date. These must be completed immediately for compliance with the State and Insurance.
- Our main retraining for the two year cycle will begin in February of next year.
- New hire information has been sent to all Diocesan locales.
