St. Joan of Arc Eucharistic Adoration Chapel

New chapel blessed at St. Joan of Arc

Bishop Michael C. Barber, SJ, celebrated Mass and blessed a new chapel at St. Joan of Arc Parish in San Ramon on Feb. 22.

The chapel will be used primarily for Eucharistic Adoration and includes a wooden, hand-crafted tabernacle created by John and Beth Dzenitis, devotional statues and images. The chapel is located below the church, near the lower parking lot and is open seven days a week, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In addition, Bishop Michael Barber blessed the parish’s newly installed 12-foot cross, facing San Ramon Valley Blvd., near the entrance of the church grounds. The cross is an iron replica of the wood cross that leads their weekend Mass processions. A special thanks to St. Joan of Arc parishioner Joe McHale for coordinating the cross project.
