Coach Jose was honored by St. Elizabeth CYO at their recent end of the year sports banquet, arranged by St. Elizabeth CYO athletic director Paula Garcia. The event honored the players at St. Elizabeth and featured the creation of the "St. Elizabeth CYO Coaching Hall of Fame," honoring coaches with 20 or more years of coaching. In addition to Jose Delgado, others honored were: Dwayne Hornage, Tony Rodriguez, Brian Flores and the late Leroy Gallegos.
