Hector Flamenco appointed Associate Director, Facilities & Risk Management

Hector Flamenco has been hired for the Associate Director of Facilities & Risk Management position.  Hector comes to us with over 10 years’ experience in risk management and construction, as well as 20 years’ experience as an insurance claims specialist and insurance agent.  He has a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz in Applied Science and Business, and a Construction Management Certificate from Columbia University.  Hector will be absorbing responsibilities from both the Facilities department and Insurance as Alex and Kathleen retire at the end of the month.  He will also work closely with Sylvia Martinez in Facilities.  

A few fun facts about Hector, his favorite places to travel are the Riviera Maya in Mexico and Antigua Guatemala in Guatemala.  He enjoys sushi and Indian food and supports the Golden State Warriors.  While he doesn’t currently have any pets, he did have two miniature schnauzers.  His favorite artist is Spanish singer, Jose Luis Perales.
