CYO Girls' Basketball Shooting Hoops Once Again!

CYO Girls' Basketball has begun to play!  After a two year suspension due to COVID, 60 CYO girls' baskeball teams representing 20 parishes and Catholic Schools in the western part of the diocese have once again begun to shoot hoops..

Teams from the Southern Alameda County League, along with teams from the Metro League ran on to the courts on the first weekend of March.  Teams from the East Bay Parochial League will begin play soon.

Girls' CYO Basketball is played in the western part of the diocese in the spring from March through May, following Girls' CYO Volleyball.  Girls' CYO teams in the eastern half of the diocese have already concluded a successfu season that played from November through Februay.  For more information on CYO basketball for both boys and girls, check out the CYO Basketball Page.
