Requests from outside businesses

Occasionally parishes may receive requests from non parishioners (or even non Catholic entities) to list their services or business on the parish website or in the parish bulletin. For many reasons, this is not recommended. Among these reasons: inclusion of unrelated businesses or services suggests the parish is endorsing these entities or receiving financial compensation for advertising the business, which could have tax implications.
