Core Team SPRED Catechists must attend Intro. to Special Religious Education Part A and Part B at least once.

Priority registration will be given to current SPRED Catechists

Intro. to SPRED (2-1), a 2-day training course taken on consecutive Saturdays required for Leader Catechists, Activity Catechists, and Parish Chairpersons:

Part A
- Pastoral Statement of U.S. Catholic Bishops on Persons with Disabilities
- History of SPRED Chicago/Oakland & specialized Catechetic
- The Method Vivre & meeting in a small community of faith
Core Team Training Part A Training

Part B
- Roles & Standards of SPRED
- Total Community of catechists & Friends
- Meaning of Faith and Revelation in specialized catechesis

Core Team Training Part B Training
