CYO Athletic Directors at Annual CYO AD Seminar

CYO Athletic Directors from around the diocese met at the St. Joseph Center for the Deaf in Hayward on Saturday, September 8 for the Annual AD Seminar. Keynote speaker was Coach Frank Allocco, legendary De La Salle basketball coach and longtime CYO volunteer. Coach Allocco gave and inpirational talk on the many positive ways that sports and coaches can have in inspiring young people. The day also featured prayer, group discussion, sharing and lunch.
The event is sponsored annually by the CYO Office.
Information on Concussion Policy
In accordance with a new state law, all parents/guardians and players must complete and return to the athletic director a Concussion Awareness Sheet. The sheet gives the parent and athlete information on concussions and also has the concussion policy regarding return of the player to participation.
